OGUNLEARN PLATFORM HAS IMPROVED TEACHERS' COMPETENCE- ARIGBABU

Prof. Arigbabu, revealed this during the presentation of awards to the 10 winners of the OgunLEARN Competition, organised by the Ministry, at the Cinema Hall of June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto, Abeokuta, noting that learners' experience, exposure, linguistic abilities, environment, background, culture, even religion, were factors considered when building a particular method of teaching, hence, the reason why the Ministry adopted OgunLEARN, with the aim to digitally reposition the entire education sector.
The Commissioner explained that when the competition was announced, participants were instructed to put the video of their lessons using OgunLEARN platform on Ogun Edu Matters, the videos were scruitinised, after which the best 10 emerged, urging others to continue to navigate the digital platform so as to meet up with the next selection process.
"We can see the need for us to actually make sure that our teaching is customised to the experiences of the learners. That is part of the things that actually makes OgunLEARN to be different from others"
"You cannot appreciate the platform until you use it very well. The end result is to do away with the manual method of teaching and engage in virtual teaching," Arigbabu said.
