*Eid-El-Kabir; FUAHSE VC greets Muslims*.
The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Allied Health Sciences Enugu, Professor John Emaimo has called on Members of the University and Nigerians, to deeply reflect on the import of the Eid El Kabir in their daily life.
The Vice Chancellor made the call in a Sallah Message, released from the University's Public Relations Unit, admonishing the Staffers and Students of the University to celebrate in moderation having the understanding that the reason for the Sallah, which is faith, sacrifice and obedience call for humility and firm belief in God, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim and his son, Ismail.
He enjoined the Students to continually match up with the Academic rigours the University programs demand, as there is no shortcut to Success, other than being committed, focused and have trust in God.
Professor Emaimo stated further that the inclusion of the Specialized Health Sciences Institution in the Federal Government's TETFUND, will bring a number of Academic and Infrastructural Developments to the young University, this he said will further enhance comfortable ambience for Teaching, Research and Learning.
The VC encouraged the Students to take full advantage of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s NELFUND initiative, designed to ease Financial burdens and promote uninterrupted access to quality Education, Academic excellence, and a brighter future for Nigerian youths.
The University Administrator also used the opportunity to congratulate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Enugu State Governor, Dr Mbah, on their recent victories in their Party Primaries.
