 Government Launches 2nd Round of IPDS and Supplements Distribution

The second round of Integrated Primary Health Care Delivery Services (IPDS) and supplements distribution commenced on Saturday, June 28th, and will run until Tuesday, July 1st, 2025.

The program aims to improve the health and well-being of children and pregnant women. Services include:

1. IPDS for children aged 0-59 months

2. Vitamin A supplementation for children aged 6-59 months

3. Deworming tablets for children aged 12-59 months

4. Multiple Micronutrient Supplements (MMS) for pregnant women

5. HPV vaccine for female children aged 9 years

6. Nutrition screening for children aged 6-59 months using MUAC Tape

Nursing mothers are encouraged to practice Exclusive Breastfeeding (EBF). The program is house-to-house, and residents are advised to reach out if health workers haven't visited their area by Monday or visit the nearest health center.

All services are free and safe.
