 236 WARDS IN OGUN TO WITNESS MASSIVE CONSTITUENCY PROJECTS

 Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has said more developmental projects will be executed in the 236 wards of the State, in fulfillment of his promise to give necessary support to the Councillors, towards the successful implementation of the projects at their various constituents.


Just as the Governor approved the full payment of furniture allowance to the Councillors, with an assurance to continue to empower them.

Prince Abiodun made this known at the Governor's Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, when he received the Councilors who were on ground to pass a vote of confidence on his administration.

The State helmsman, who emphasised the significance of constituency projects to grassroots development, stated that’’ the Councilors being the closest to the grassroots are the ones representing us in your various Local Governments, I want to assure you that you will not be put to shame.

"I am a promise-keeping administrator, whatever promise I make to you, I will definitely keep it, I want to thank you for your very kind remarks for appreciating that I promised you I was going to pay your furniture allowances and I remain the first Governor that will pay 100 percent furniture allowances to Councillors’’.

He urged them to continue to be good ambassadors of the party at their various wards.

Abiodun commended the commitment of the Judiciary to upholding the rule of law and being impartial, as well the lawyers for their brilliancy in ensuring effective nation-building, called on his political adversaries to drop their gloves, stop running around to buy judgments, and join his administration in moving the State to the next level.

The Governor also expressed enthusiasm that the State is currently the fastest-growing economy in the country, and ascribed the success to the team which shares the same vision with him.

Earlier in his remarks, the Chairman, Ogun State Councilors Forum, Hon. Olarewaju Adeleye, who passed a vote of confidence on the administration of Governor Abiodun, also thanked him for approving and paying their full furniture allowance, and acknowledged him for executing at least a project in each of the 236 wards of the State.
