OTA RESIDENTS LAUD GOVT ON DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS
Residents of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Area of Ogun State have lauded the effort of Governor Dapo Abiodun on the construction and rehabilitation of schools projects embarked upon in the area, describing it as strides that has positive impact on the lives and socio-economic well-being of people.
Expressing their feelings during an interview with newsmen in the council area, a community leader in Ilogbo-Ota, Chief Abiodun Agunbiade, said the present administration deserve to be applauded for the construction of three classrooms with Terazzo floors at Owode Ota Grammar School, Ijako, and the rehabilitation of some classrooms at St. Paul Church Primary School, Ilogbo, among others.
Agunbiade noted that the projects were monumental in Ogun West Senatorial District and had earned the present administration a good reputation.
Another resident in Ota area, Pastor Olawale Daniel stated that the ongoing infrastructural development across the State had reduced some of the hardship being faced by the people in the society, urging government to sustain the tempo.
Contributing, a private school owner in the area, Mrs. Adebimpe Sowunmi said various educational policies and programmes for public and private schools had put the State in high pedestal among its peers in the country.
On his part, the Chairman, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Engr. Sheriff Musa, who attested to the efforts of the present administration at improving the quality of life at the grassroots areas, assured that the authority of the council would continue to leverage on good governance and democratic dividends in the State.
