 CORONA SCHOOL RENOVATES EGUDU HEALTH CENTER IN ADO ODO/ OTA L.G

Three students from two different generations of Corona Secondary school Agbara in Ado Odo Ota Local Government area namely Chinamen Egwuatu class of 2018, Chedoziem Egwuatu class of 2020 and Adesiji Olamideof class 2021 recently renovated Egudu Health Centre in Agbara axis of the council area.

The representative of the principal of the school Mrs Dupe  Sonuga  disclosed that Corona Schools is owned by group of people and the school teaches the students to always give back to the communities that raised them adding  that the renovation work on Egudu Health Centre was one of the  numerous community outreach projects initiated and completed by students of Corona Secondary School Agbara in recent times.

 She also added that three students from two generations of the school were involved.

Master Chidoziem Egwuatu while speaking on behalf of other student stated that the renovation was made possible through money raised from basketball tournament, food sales to fellow students and donations from their parents saying  it gladdens their heart that the facility is in good shape and will be ready to serve the community fully.

The Executive Chairman of Ado Odo Ota Local Government Hon. Sheriff Adewale Musa in his acceptance address of the newly renovated facility  said that Corona Secondary School Students have  showed that tokens, when used judiciously can achieve great things.

Musa added that from the students explanation, one could see that they did not have the financial muscle to pull of a project such as this but because of the good teachings from their school, they were resilient enough to think out of the box and source for funds with good assistance from their parents.

Hon Musa appreciated Corona Schools, the students and their parents for giving back to the society and further added that the entire local government is grateful for what these students have done and for the great impact of the school on our rural communities.

The council boss disclosed that the Corona Secondary School will be invited for award presentation to  show appreciation for a gesture so humane.

Present at the occasion  with the Chairman were the Vice Chairman Mrs Saidat Olatunbosun Animashaun, Leader of the House Hon. Mrs Bukola Balogun Omosowon, Head of Local Government Administration Dr Adebola Bamgbose, pHC Ag. Cordinator Mr Odebode Gbadebo,  Apex Nurse Matron Akinremi, Baale of Egudu Chief Noah Adidas Olutade and community members.
