 SPEECH DELIVERED BY HON AREMU BABATUNDE THE OGUN STATE APC YOUTH LEADER ON THE OCCASION OF THE YOUTH'S  MEMORIAL DAY FOR 11TH FEBRUARY AND CONTINUATION OF PRINCE DAPO ABIODUN THE GOVERNOR OF OGUN STATE IN OFFICE FOR THE SECOND TERM  

 TODAY FEBRUARY 11, 2022

It is with delightful opportunity that I am standing before you today, 11th February 2022, opportunity that pains, injuries and even death took away from some loyal members of our great party by the unfortunate incident that greeted Campaign visit of General Mohammed Buhari to our beloveds State in 2015.

It was in deed the survives of the luckiest, many have gone, many were disappointed while many are still living with the ugly memory. 

standing before you today in boldness to say that we are more than a conquer, today gathering suggested that no weapon fashion against us can prosper, we have seen and stand, and more so will won. I called the wining, a result of steadfastness   

I did not only salute our loyalty but I completely agreed with our firmness, our collectiveness and dedication for the progress of this unbeatable political party known as APC in Ogun State.

Be remembered that our preferred leader and promising Gubernatorial Aspirant for the year 2015 in the person of Prince Dapo Abidoun, did not only triumphantly outplaced the plot of the wicked but have justified the collective confidence we all reposed on him.

In a quick succession, Prince Dapo Abiodun had proved that we are all right and not wrong in our decision by voted for him. He has performed and still performing. 

The ugly situation which commemorates today gathering can now be described as the sacrifice for the development, good governance that we are all witnessing across the state.

It will amount to ingrate,  belittling of the heroes' effort, and undermining the doggedness of the brave people who stool on their ground against the wickedness of the evil doer in this faithful day, if the event of today is not considered worthy of itself.

I doff my cap for these brave people, who their tenacity, courage and determination rooted on the ground against the enemy of the state, that came with the intention to ridicule the good image built by our forefathers.

          

Judging by infrastructure development, good policy making and developmental agenda setting of Prince Dapo Abiodun, the able Governor of Ogun State, the future remains bright and no any evil plot can deny the people of Ogun State the glorious day ahead.

The youth’s decision to walk Prince Dapo Abiodun to next four year of office is based on through assessment of the silent Achiever, which in no doubt will be of increase upon the good record on ground

I urged the youths to be more dedicated, hold on with our youthfulness against illicit activity, and refuse to succumb to the brainwashing politicking of the wicked.

 

As much as I remain the youth leader of this great state, the youth interest cannot diminish in my mind, I will continue to pursue the development of the youth with all my political strength.

I only request the collective sincerity of everybody to build on, the individuals among the youths must be responsible. It is by that we can win more 

I wish us happy Memorial Day as we continue with our effort towards wining again and again.
