Tackle insecurity, govt urged

 

The President, Zumrarul Islamiyyah Society of Nigeria (ZISN), Mutiu Gbajumo, has called on the Federal Government to improve on the security in the country.

Gbajumo said: “As the world is faced with one calamity or the other, from invincible COVID -19 Pandemic to serious flooding, Nigeria is facing the menace of banditry, kidnapping and cruel killing of innocent lives by some criminals, some in the name of poorly understood religions.


“Government should as a matter of urgency find a solution to the menace before it spread out to all states in the country.

He hinted that the association would continue to pursue his programmes on education, humanitarian activities and provision of social amenities for the needy people in the society.
