 State of Nation: Let's Be God's Vessel

Children have been described as vessel of God's mercy and goodness in which parents must endeavour to bring up in the way of God for the betterment of our Nation.

The daughter of the online publisher of the details news, miss Ayomikun Bankole made this declaration in her sermon to celebrate children day with the theme"  Vessels of God's Mercy and Goodness" ( 2 Timothy 2 : 19-20 at the Overcomer Area, Redeemed Church, Iludun, Ota.

According to her, Bible described children as arrow in the hands of a mighty man saying the purpose of arrows is to fight , adding that a well brought up child in the way of God, teaching and imbibing  in the will of God will be prepared to fight the course of life spiritually.

Ayomikun advised parents to always show good character worths of emulation adding that the first contact is the parents who easily influence and shape their children which the result is viewed in the larger society.

" What is expected as a vessel of God's goodness and mercy are: having consciousness of being a carrier of his goodness and mercy (2 Tim.2:19), Total submission of one's life unto God, invest in yourself with the words of God, be committed to kingdom's business, attending programmes that will  add value to your life amongst others", she explained.

She enjoined both the children and parents to always allow God to be proud of them through their good character which will qualify us as a vessel of God for the well- being of an individual in particular and society in general.
