SCHOOL REOPENING POSSIBLE - SA EDUCATIO

Ogun State Government says reopening of schools would be possible if necessary precautions will be adhered to by schools’ management and the students.                                 

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Technical Education, Prof. Joseph Odemuyiwa made this known while speaking to newsmen in Abeokuta, explaining that Government was not pleased that learners were missing out in their academic calendar, as Covid-1h9 pandemic had affected the educational system across the world, leading to closure of schools at all levels.

Prof. Odemuyiwa explained that plans were in top gear to contain the virus, adding that the essence of vocational education was to be relevant and dependable, which could be achieved through craftsmanship and being entrepreneurial.

 He advised learners to engage in vocational training at this period, saying Government needs them to achieve the industrial revolution being craved for in Nigeria.
