Sango Ota Divisional. Police officer, Godwin Idehai has warned the motorists and the residents in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government to strictly adhere to the governments restriction order, otherwise face the wrath of law.
Speaking with the journalists at toll- gate, Ota, Godwin Idehai lamented that motorists are so recalcitrant to the restriction order warning that this non-challant attitude on their parts will not be tolerated at the commencement of the lockdown on Friday, as pronounced by both the federal and state governments in Ogun State.
Idehai explained that, the decision taken by the federal government is a right step at the right time which will enable governments treat those already infected, discover those who have contacted it and curb the further spread of covid-19 in our Nation within fourteen days.
He enjoined both the motorists and residents of the area to be law abiding , do the needful in order to sustain themselves till lockdown lasts adding that Police Officers will be positioned at the various strategic places to carry out government order in a civilian way.
In his remarks, Godwin said he is so optimistic that at the end of the total lockdown normalcy will return to the country saying we must all endure as the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Kenneth Ebrimson, has on Thursday, gone round Ado-Odo/Ota local government axis sensitising people on the important of lockdown and encouraging them to be law abiding.
